How to Apply Garlic Mosquito Barrier to Repel Mosquitoes the Natural Way!
Hi, I’m Melissa from Northline Express here with one of my favorite mosquito control products! Mosquito Barrier is an all natural mosquito repellent made with 100% garlic juice. It is perfectly safe to be used around pets, fish, plants, as well as your children and yourself. This product is a great way to keep the mosquito population limited especially with all of the mosquito born diseases that are out there. It is an easy product to use to achieve effective mosquito control.
Because Mosquito Barrier is made with 100% garlic juice it contains natural sulfur and that is what keeps the mosquitoes from hanging out around your yard. Barrier does emit a STRONG garlic smell when you are applying it but becomes undetectable by humans with in minutes. However because mosquitoes can detect scents 10,000 times better than a human, barrier will repel mosquitoes for 3-4 weeks per application.
Here’s how to mix and apply garlic barrier for the best results:
You will need a canister or pressure sprayer, a measuring cup (Easiest if you have one that measures ounces, like a Mason Jar.), a water source, and mosquito barrier of course.
1 – First determine the size of your canister or pressure sprayer and measure out the necessary amount of concentrate. You will use 4oz. for each gallon of water.
2 – Add the measured concentrate to your pressure or canister sprayer and fill it to the capacity line.
3 – Pressurize your sprayer
4 – Apply the garlic barrier. It is best to apply the garlic barrier in the early morning or evening hours. Do not apply if it is supposed to rain within the next 24 hours.
Make sure that you are applying the garlic barrier to the entire area that you frequent outdoors. Spray your lawn, your shrubs, trees, in flower beds, around porches, and wood piles as well. Mosquitoes like to rest on leaves of plants in shady areas so use that as a guide to make sure that you are covering all of the areas that you need to during application.
Don’t be alarmed if during application you are swarmed by mosquitoes, this means its working!! Garlic is DEADLY to mosquitoes so they are going to do whatever it takes to get away from the areas that you are spraying. Just wear long sleeves and pants and you will be much more comfortable if this happens.
After your first application of mosquito barrier it is recommended that you apply it again within about a week. After that you only need to reapply every 3-4 weeks. If there is heavy rainfall you may need to apply sooner.
This is a product that I have been using every year for the last 3 years! I wouldn’t be with out it because I have seen such a dramatic difference in the mosquitoes once I apply the barrier. I also recommend it because it is ALL NATURAL and I don’t have to worry about chemicals on myself, my pets, or my plants!
