Flea Infestation? Try the All-Natural Mosquito Barrier
Fleas can be detrimental to not only animals but human health as well; that is why flea prevention and removal is such a popular topic. I’m Melissa from NorthlineExpress and in this video I will introduce you to an all-natural product to help you keep your pets and home flea free.
This is Mosquito Barrier, an all-natural flea solution for your yard to help fleas from infesting your animals and keeping fleas away from your yard. You will still want to use a treatment to protect your animals, but those treatments only protect the animal from the diseases that the flea biting them can cause. They do not prevent them from getting on the animal and being carried into your home.
There are a number of medical problems that fleas can cause more than just the irritating itchy bites. And fleas are not picky they cannot live without a blood meal, and fleas will get that meal from human and animal sources. Fleas are also infesters that are hard to get rid of once they are in your home.
Fleas will lay eggs in your home so even when you think you have gotten them all there is another generation lurking in your carpets, furniture, and other areas of your home. So even though you protect your animals with flea baths or other flea prevention methods, there is still a great benefit to keeping fleas out of your yard all together, for you and your pets!
With mosquito barrier you will simply use the concentrate mixed with water to apply it and keep the fleas away, with the added bonus of repelling mosquitoes as well. To mix up the concentrate for fleas you would use 4 ounces of barrier for each gallon of water. Use a pressure style sprayer to apply the mixture and make sure that you are spraying all grass, shrubs, dirt, and sand areas with the formula. It will also help to keep your area clear of fallen tree limbs, weeds, and tall grass.
Once you have the mosquito barrier formula mixed you first want to spray any dirt or sandy areas with a garden hose to soak the area. This will help to bring any hidden larvae to the surface. For optimum results it is best to wait at least an hour after soaking the ground before you apply the barrier mixture.
For continued protection you will want to repeat the spraying in 5 days after the initial application. Throughout flea season, usually July-September, apply the mixture as described above every three to four weeks.
By keeping the fleas out of your yard with Mosquito Barrier and using a flea shampoo or alternative product provided by your veterinarian to keep them off of your pets, you can be completely free of fleas for the entire summer.
